Field trips galore, with lots of time in the mountains and forest areas around Laramie.
Group activities including sports, hobbies, cooking, craft projects, and outdoor skills under the supervision of our trained staff and local experts in their fields.
A variety of optional extra-curricular activities in which children may enroll in order to try out new interests and learn new skills.

An opportunity for children to make choices of activities. We understand that no two children are exactly alike. Rather than struggle with those differences, we try to offer something for everybody to enjoy, regardless of their personality.
A no-boredom summer full of healthy challenges to keep your child in mental and physical shape while school is out.

Safety and security. Keeping the children safe is a top priority at Basic Beginnings. All of our teachers are trained in facilitating activities for groups of children. We require all staff to be certified in first aid and CPR. They are also trained in vehicle safety and are required to be accompanied by a second teacher on all field trips.
Convenience. Our flexible enrollment policies allow you to sign up for a day, a week, a month, or for the entire summer. We are happy to accommodate the schedule that best fits your needs.
Affordability. Tuition costs include breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks served daily. Special field trips or optional activities may require a separate entry fee. The decision to participate in these belongs to you and your child. Alternate activities will always be available if your child opts out of these.
