Basic Beginnings accepts children from the ages of
6 weeks all the way up to
6th grade.
Children are divided
into small groups based on their age and level of development, with each group housed in its own separate classroom with teachers who are educated, trained, and
experienced specifically for their developmental needs. We invite you to visit our
facility any time to see each of these programs in action.
- Infant Care Program
- has 2 separate rooms for ages 6 weeks to 12 months,
with each classroom designed and equipped for optimum learning opportunities during the important early years of brain development. Care providers are experienced and educated in infant care, with extensive training
in the WestEd Program for Infant and Toddler Caregivers.
- Toddler Care Program
- has 4 separate classrooms for ages 12 - 36 months,
each with a focus upon the specific needs for the children in that age
group. A nurturing environment with quality play and social
experiences, led by caring and experienced care providers, makes this
program stand out as one of the finest toddler programs available.
- Preschool Program
- has 4 separate classrooms for 3 - 5 year olds
and includes two classrooms of our TANF funded preschool program monitored by the State of
Wyoming Department of Education. With degreed, certified teachers and
a nationally recognized curriculum, this program takes advantage of
children's natural desire to explore, create, and experience life with
excitement and wonder.
- School-Age Care
- includes a class for kindergarteners and a class for grades 1 - 6,
complete with transportation to and from the local public school
programs. This program makes the most of those hours before and after
school, providing meals and snacks, homework assistance, physical activity,
and plenty of opportunities for enhancing social skills.
- Summer "Too Hot to Miss" Program
- is an all day recreation program for grade-school aged children
that operates during the summer months. Filled with field trips,
outdoor activities, reading contests, and a host of specially planned
projects, this program ensures that our grade-school aged kids have so much
fun during the summer that they don't even miss school!
