The preschool classrooms at Basic Beginnings are based on a developmentally appropriate curriculum with a strong focus upon the development of the whole child, including physical, cognitive, social and emotional, and language development. By tailoring our curriculum to meet the interests and needs of the children, we can customize our subject matter to match what the children are excited to learn.

Regular assessments are completed to keep track of the children's progress and any potential areas of weakness. This assessment process is based upon developmentally appropriate daily observations of children at work and play in their regularly scheduled activities. Assessments are shared with parents to assist them in ensuring that their child is receiving every possible learning advantage during the important early years of the child's development.
